When you first get started, you should customize your weboffice. Then, you can add associates from your Market Center as members.
Customizing Your Weboffice
With your KW MC Weboffice, you can change the layout, messages, pictures, fonts, colors, links, tables, and more.
- Log onto the MC Weboffice
- Click on Customize it in the upper right corner.
- Site Name - This is the name that will appear in the upper left corner of the screen and as the website name.
- Description - This description will appear on your login page under About Site Name.
- Home Page Logo - You may place a picture of your logo at the top of your home page.
- Logo Position - Choose the position of the logo from the drop-down menu.
- Logo URL - Enter a URL to make your logo a hyperlink to another page.
- Home Page Message - Specify a message to appear at the top of the weboffice home page. (This will appear below the logo if a logo is specified.) To enter a message, select Show Message. Click Edit, and enter the message in the pop-up window. When you are done, click Save. If you included an image in your message, you will be prompted to upload the attachment. Click OK.
- Color Scheme - Select a color scheme from the drop-down menu. When you have selected the color, the graphic to the right of the drop-down menu will show you what the color scheme looks like.
- Choose Your Weboffice Features - Click the box next to any feature that you would like to have on your home page. For details about each of these features, go to Applications.
- Set Home Page Defaults - To remove a section from the column boxes, highlight that section, and click the X for that box. From the drop-down menu, highlight the section you wish to add, and click Add. The section will appear in the Left Column box. Use the buttons with the horizontal arrows to move the sections to the Right Column box or back to the Left Column box. Use the buttons with the vertical arrows to arrange the sections vertically on your home page. Each member can use these defaults or choose their own settings using the Personalize link on the home page.
- Calendar - From the drop-down menu, select the number of days from your calendar you want displayed on your home page.
- Customize Tabs - Customize the navigation tabs that appear at the top of your weboffice. For each tab, you can choose to display standard content, or enter your own URL. To remove a tab, clear the Name field, and set the Content field to None.
- Change Directory Options - Under Directory Listing, select whether or not you want Webexone.com to list your weboffice in their directory. If you choose to be listed, choose the appropriate categories and subcategories for your site. In the Keywords box, enter keywords that people can use to search for this weboffice (for example, real estate, Keller Williams, etc.).
- Specify the Default Time Zone - From the drop-down menu, select the appropriate time zone.
- Change Site Profile - Click this link. Select the Industry (e.g., Real Estate) and the Size of Company (e.g., the number of associates in your Market Center). Click save.
- When you have finished customizing your weboffice, click Save.
