Can I have more than one calendar to keep others from viewing my personal events?
You can have events for Groups, events for all member, and personal events all in one calendar, and your personal events can be kept private.
Can the administrator see everyone's calendar, even if they have it marked as private?
The administrator will not be able to see any events marked private.
If you use the MS Publisher calendar, can you link that document to show up on the homepage?
You can add the MS Publisher calendar as a document. It will show up under Documents in the What's New? box on your homepage.
Does this calendar synchronize with other programs or devices?
Yes, the MC Intranet synchronizes with Outlook and Palm Pilots.
Can anyone sync a calendar from Outlook?
Yes, all members can synchronize with Outlook for their personal calendars.
Does the sync process work both ways-upload and download?
Yes, synchronization works both ways to upload and download events onto both calendars.
Can we upload our calendar from Yahoo to this Intranet?
If you synchronize your Yahoo calendar to Outlook or your Palm Pilot, then you could synchronize either of those to your MC Intranet calendar.
Can you upload a calendar from Word?
You can upload a Word calendar to the Documents section, but it will not synchronize.
Is this calendar for each individual agent or for the whole MC?
It is for both. You can post events for all members or mark them as private, so only you can see your personal events. The calendar view combines both events.
Will this calendar be able to be emailed to other agents outside Keller Williams as a recruiting tool?
You cannot email the calendar. But you can make the calendar viewable to the public, so anyone who visits the Intranet can click Enter as a Guest under Just Visiting and view the calendar.
Can we link the calendar to our office's website?
Yes, you can link it to your office's website. We will also be adding a link to the intranet site from each KW MC Website template
Can two or more MC's share documents between intranets?
You can share documents by sharing each other's web folders. You should invite each other to be co-administrators of each other's sites, and then, set up web folders in each site. Only administrators will be able to add documents to MC web folders.
When associates turn in contracts and forms, can they fill them out and submit them to the Intranet?
You can create a directory where agents can put filled in contract documents on the intranet.
When you send a link to a document, can you see if the receiving party has visited the link?
No, but you will be able to see when the last time the user logged in to the intranet. If they did not login, then they did not view the document.
Will agents be able to check their email from this site?
No, they cannot. However, we are currently building a web-based email program to work with the Keller Williams Intranet.
Can I send email from the MC Intranet?
Yes, you can send email by clicking on Members, and then, click the Send Email button. Or forward links to documents, calendars, polls, announcements, etc. by clicking Send Link, while viewing that document.
Am I only able to send out a link to a document on the Intranet site, or is there a way to actually email the document itself?
Through the Intranet you can only send a link to the document. Sending the document would be the same as sending an attachment, and sending a link works well because it does not fill up the users inbox if they have a size limit.
Can we get a report to track emails sent out, or is there a "Sent" folder?
No, the Intranet cannot track sent emails, and there is no "Sent" folder. For your records, you should CC: yourself on the emails you send.
Can you see if the receiving party has read an email?
You will not be able to see if the user has read the email.
Does the person to whom you're sending the email have to be a member of the intranet?
No, you can email any email address, but only members will be able access your MC Intranet.
