What are Market Center Weboffices?
Market Center Weboffices are content-managed weboffice that are available to each Market Center. Keller Williams Realty International has partnered with Webexone.com to provide these customized, web-based weboffices for each Market Center.
Is this an update from or replacement of the present KW Intranet we're using?
No, this is separate from the current Keller Williams Intranet. This one is for you to use specifically for your Market Center and will be administrated by your MCA.
Is this weboffice found on the KW Intranet?
This is a separate weboffice just for your office. Members will go to http://kwmc_____.webexone.com (fill in the blank with your Market Center number).
How do we get our associates to check this everyday?
Put all of the information that your associates need on your weboffice-forms, documents, contacts, and other information. If the answer to, "Where is 'blank?'" is always, "The Market Center Weboffice," then they will use it.
Can we forward weboffice messages to the email our associates usually use?
When you set up the accounts for your associates, use the email that they use now to set up their account; that way, all weboffice messages and postings will notify that email account when you use the Send Link or Email features of your weboffice.
How is this function different from or of more benefit than these same features in Outlook?
The real benefit is that everyone can use it, whether they have Outlook or not. All your realtors need is a web browser. The MC Weboffice will synchronize with Outlook, so you can maintain your weboffice that way, as well. Additionally, it offers several other features that Outlook does not, such as document sharing, discussion forums, groups, links, and announcements.
When do I get my Market Center Weboffice?
The Market Center Weboffices began rolling out August 1, 2002. We activated approximately 25 Market Center Weboffices every week, focusing on getting each group of Market Centers trained and off to a good start with their weboffice site. You should have received an email the week prior to your Market Center Weboffice activation with information about the web-based training session. We anticipate having all Market Center Weboffices activated by October 31, 2002.
Does the MC Weboffice cost me anything?
The cost of your MC Weboffice is covered by the Eagentc fee that you already pay.
How much memory does the MC Weboffice site have available?
The weboffice site comes with 100MB of space. If you need more, contact support@kw.com.
Once we begin to reach our memory capacity, who is responsible for "clean-up" and the freeing up of space?
The MC Weboffice site administrator, usually the MCA, is responsible for managing the site.
Is this office weboffice something for the MCA to use to manage the office or a personal tool for agents, office staff, etc?
It is for both the MCA to manage the office and for the agents' convenience.
