There is no need for
a diskette, just enter our Intranet site and download it from
the marketing materials link. There are both low resolution logo
images (for the web) and high resolution images (for print materials).

A digital image is going
to be a better choice. Enter our Intranet site and download a
high resolution logo image to copy onto a disk or ask your printer
to go directly to our marketing materials page and download the
image he needs.

What
are the colors of our logo?
The logo consists of
two Pantone Matching System colors: PMS #200 (red) and PMS #424
(gray).
* The rule in the logo that passes through the scrolled 'KW'
is also PMS #424 as is the word REALTY.

What
are the specifications for the logo?
There are several fonts
used in the Keller Williams Realty logo.
- The scrolled 'KW' lettering is in the font:
PhilliniD font face
- The words 'KELLER WILLIAMS' is in the font:
Goudy Heavyface Condensed
- The word 'REALTY' is in the font: Goudy
OldStyle
- It is expanded to spread between the letters 'I
and M' in the word 'WILLIAMS'
in the stacked logo; and in the linear logo between the
letters "E" in the word 'KELLER'
and the 'A' in the word 'WILLIAMS'.
- A registration mark is required on the baseline after the
'S' in the word 'WILLIAMS'.

Is
anything required on my marketing materials that I send to my customers?
Yes, several years
ago our Legal counsel told us that the phrase, "AN INDEPENDENT
MEMBER BROKER" was required on all marketing materials.
- Several states have their own phrase that is required per
their statutes. In that case, your Team Leader will advise you
on the phrase needed on your marketing materials. For a more
thorough understanding of our requirements review in the Company
Identity Standards Manual. This is available to download from
the manual link on our Intranet site.
- Service Marks and symbols are specified in the Company Identity
Standards Manual. For more information about this, talk with
your Team Leader.

Where
can I order signs?
There is a list of
approved sign vendors on the Intranet in the Marketing section.
You have a choice of vendors in this area so check out the list
under the KWProducts/Vendors link.
- All yard signs, rider signs, and magnetic signs must be in
accordance with the Company Identity Standards Manual.
The manual can be found under KW Intranet->Resources->Documents->Manuals.

Is
there a specific color my sign and frame must be?
Yes. The KELLER
WILLIAMS® REALTY gray frame and red yard sign are
the most identifiable real estate symbols in the real estate industry.
ALL frames MUST BE gray, no exceptions!
Are
there any exceptions to signage?
The KELLER WILLIAMS®
REALTY yard sign is required to be placed on each residential
property unless precluded from doing so by the property owner,
the physical structure of the property, community restrictions
or local law.
- Any exceptions other than those noted must have prior written
approval of the Regional Director and notification to Keller
Williams Realty International.

Can
I use a different size yard sign?
Sign panel sizes are
18" x 24" or 24" X 30". Any other dimension must be requested
in writing by the Regional Director and sent via fax or email
to Keller Williams Realty International for approval before fabrication.
Variations will only be granted under unusual circumstances such
as state law or local ordinance requirements.

How
many names and phone numbers can I put on my sign?
Only one name per panel
is permitted. Although a team or group name can be placed on the
panel instead of each individual name on the team or group. The
individual's name and designation(s) must print in white. The
individual's name must be centered under the KELLER WILLIAMS®
REALTY Logo design.
One telephone number
is recommended, however two numbers may be used, (one of the two
numbers must be the Market Center's phone number) the other being
the Agent's home office number or email address. The size of the
telephone number is 1.25 times the height of the capital letter
used in the Market Center Affiliate Name Identification. Always
center the telephone number. If an area code is used, it must
be on the same line as the phone number and enclosed in parentheses.
The space between the telephone number(s) and the edge of the
background on the sign must be at least as wide as the width of
the letter 'E' in the Logo.

Can
I place symbols on the sign?
Only two symbols are
permitted on KELLER WILLIAMS® sign panels.
(i.e., Realtors® logo, Equal Opportunity Housing Logo, etc.)
These approved symbols may only appear in the space at the lower
right and left corners of the sign. The height must not exceed
1 ¾".

What
are the specifications for business cards?
Sales Associates are
bound to adhere to both license laws and the constraints and supervision
placed upon them by the Broker/Owner. At the same time, because
of the KELLER WILLIAMS® REALTY concept, associates
are given wide latitude to exercise individual choice in the conduct
of their sales activity. Success is dependent upon the ability
to balance individual freedom and organizational affiliation.
If developing a personal image campaign, then the specifications
outlined in that section of the Company Identity Standards Manual
must be adhered to by the agent.

am having trouble opening the Free Marketing Downloads
Note: **If you are having
trouble downloading or opening PDF files or other free material:
The files are not corrupt,
there is a bug in IE / Acrobat Plugin. This is a really
common problem with Internet Explorer and the Acrobat plugin.
It has been reported for just about every version of each.
The workaround:
0) Close all open copies of Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat.
1) Start Acrobat stand-alone from the windows "Start" menu.
2) Choose the Edit | Preferences menu or hit Ctr-K.
3) Choose the "Internet" item on the left side.
4) Uncheck "Allow fast web view" and "Allow speculative downloading
in the background".
5) Click Ok.
6) Close Acrobat.
7) Start Internet Explorer.
8) Open the Tools | Internet Options... menu
9) In the center of the dialog, where it says "Temporary Internet
Files", click "Delete Files".
10) Click "Ok" and wait for it to finish clearing out the cached
broken copies of the PDF's.
11) Restart Internet Explorer, and everything should work fine.
This was tested with Internet explorer version 6.0.2800.1106 and
Adobe Acrobat version 6.0.0 5/19/2003.
