Using the Navigation Bar
Reports typically contain
a generated table of contents. If the report has a
hierarchical structure, you can view the table of contents with
sections
collapsed or expanded depending on the level of detail you want
to see. The
following illustration shows an example of a partially expanded
table of
contents for a report.
How to access the
report's Navigation Bar
- Choose Nav Barfrom the toolbar above the report.
- The Navigation Bar for the report appears in a scrollable frame
on the left of
the report frame.
- You can adjust the size of the frames by moving the vertical
line separating the two frames.
How to use the
report's Navigation Bar
- To expand the Navigation Bar to show more levels of information,
choose
- To collapse the Navigation Bar to show fewer levels of information,
choose
- To go to an item displayed in the Navigation Bar, choose the
link.
How to close the
Navigation Bar
- Choose Nav Bar from the toolbar above the report.
- The Nav Bar control toggles between displaying and closing the
Navigation Bar.
